Who are we?

CF Buyer’s Club was started by a group of parents in the UK who have children who needed access to CFTR medicines. We are all volunteers.

We also worked with Just Treatment to campaign for the UK government to issue a Crown Use licence that would allow it to buy generic modulators for use by the public health system, the NHS. Fortunately, this was not needed in the UK in the end, but compulsory licensing is an important option for health services in countries unable to access life-saving medicines.
